How does the Gale System work?
We explain how the first version of Gale System works. As we mentioned before, two tools complement each other:
The main tool (Gale dagger 1) is made of a special metal. This material is a mixture of high-strength steel, much stronger and harder than ordinary steel. It is heavier than an aluminum alloy, but its biggest advantage is its tensile strength. With exact and tested measures to be used in different reciprocating saws (from the smallest to the largest), this is its main advantage.
Likewise, its design facilitates the placement and extraction of (Gale Alignment). Also the Gale Dagger 1, on other occasions can place the drive cleat alone depending on the alignment of the flanges from their original manufacture.
The second piece is the aligner (Gale alignment) which is made of steel and will be adjusted exactly between the separation of the ducts, in this way, it aligns and facilitates the process of fixing and alignment of air conditioning ducts (Gale Dagger 1) leaving a portion of cleat drive of 1 inch ¼ or (1.25 inches), just what is necessary to achieve the final doubling of the unión, (everything can’t be perfect, that’s the remaining 2% where you will necessarily use your hammer or any lighter tool that can hit, the author left a small space in the use of the hammer for the easiest task of that process).
